About Story Corps
Find Out More
So what is LHS StoryCorps? This past November, LHS's Sources of Strength chapter started a StoryCorps project. We set up a recording booth and had people come in and share their stories of hope and strength. We then spent the next several months creating animations to go along with several of those stories, and at the end of March hosted a viewing event with close to 80 students attending. We are meeting soon to discuss continuing this project this year and beyond. Why are we doing this? Our goal is to bring new perspectives to our peers’ experiences and to foster connection, community, and compassion at LHS.
